ESports unites not only players and spectators, but also industrial associations. According to Gamesindustry.BIZ, several Western organizations formed an alliance to support virtual competitions.
In a joint announcement, the associations related to video players identified four principles of promotion and participation in e -sports, each of which was supplied with an explanation:

ESports contributes to the spirit of healthy competition. On both local and online tournaments, all participants in the e-sports community should show respect and politeness to others, including teammates, rivals, officials of the game, organizers and spectators.

We support an open, inclusive and hospitable environment for all, regardless of gender identity, age, capabilities, races, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation.

ESTRISS can contribute to the development of self -confidence and sportsmanship, as well as improve interpersonal communication skills and teamwork. ESTOMS combines players and fans to solve problems through tactical game, cooperation and critical thinking. Participation in e -sports may also lead to the emergence of new and long -term friendly relations between teammates, rivals and participants in a wider e -sports community.
The principles were jointly published by the European Federation of Interactive Software (ISFE), the Association of Entertainment Software (ESA), the Association of Entertainment Software of Canada (ESAC), the Association of Interactive Games and Entertainment (Igeaa) and the Association of Interactive Entertainment (UKIE).
It is not surprising that e -sports attracted the attention of organizations: according to Newzoo, the income from the global e -sports market in 2019 should exceed $ 1 billion.
